Energy is not bound by distance, so energy transmissions in a remote session are just as strong as in person. We are all energy matter, connected and part of a larger whole.
What To Expect
During a Reiki Session
A Reiki session is usually 60 to 90 minutes long. Treatments are soothing and peaceful with soft music playing in the background. You discuss your areas of concern with the healer and set an intention for what you hope to achieve. Then, you lie down fully clothed.
A brief meditation to help you relax and receive the loving energy kicks off the session. The practitioner lays her hands on or above your body, directing universal life force to you through a series of hand positions. There is no massage or pressure.
The session ends with a debrief and recommendations of self-care rituals to practice at home.
Every experience is different, even for the same person. Some may feel a warm sensation or tingling while others feel nothing but peace and deep relaxation.
