What is Reiki?
Chronic stress without relief tenses our muscles and leads to issues such as high blood pressure, digestion problems, loss of sleep, and other serious concerns.
Reiki eases tension, which in turn lowers our stress response and encourages healing on all levels – physical, mental and emotional.
Reiki is a spiritual healing art not affiliated with any religion and is based on the idea that a universal life force flows through all living things.
Cultures worldwide use it as a natural and safe form of healing. This healing can shift, balance or clear stuck energy that might affect us in different areas of life.
Although it may facilitate healing, Reiki is not a cure for a disease or illness. It is a great complementary tool to traditional medicine and is practiced in many hospitals and medical care settings.
Reiki sessions can be done in person or via distant healing. Either way, sessions are pleasant and relaxing.

What To Expect During A Reiki Session!
A Reiki session is usually 60 to 90 minutes long. You will remove your shoes upon entering the sacred healing space. Discuss your areas of concern with the healer and set an intention for what you hope to achieve.
You will then lie on a massage table on your back fully clothed. Loose, comfortable clothing is suggested. Relaxing music will play in the background.
A session can either be hands-on, where the healer will apply a light touch, or hands-off where they will hold their hands slightly above your body. Regardless, there is no massage or pressure.
The healer will move through a series of hand positions. Every experience is different, even for the same person. Recipients may feel a warming sensation, a tingling, or nothing but peace.
Whether it’s mental, physical or emotional, you will certainly benefit from the relaxing and self-expanding effects of energy healing.
